As the voice of communications in Ottawa, we are the trusted authority that communicates regularly to over 2,000 industry professionals in the National Capital Region through email, social media channels and in-person events.
Recent chapter research shows our diverse membership base is made up of senior level communicators (51.4%), has a solid intermediate base (34.3%) and fewer entry-level communicators. Our membership represents a wide sample of the communicators – out of those who responded, 32.9% work in the private sector, 24.3% work for the federal government, 21.4% are employed with a non-profit, and 17.1% work for an association.
