Strategic Communication Planning for Non-Profit Organizations – June 9 to 10, 2015

Many non-profit organizations grapple with limited resources for communication and with complex issues/programs to communicate. Compelling Content and Digital Media Communications – June 24 to 26

Telling Your Story with Data – June 26 to 28

Join two of Canada’s leading data journalists, CBC’s David McKie and Ottawa Citizen’s Glen McGregor, for intensive hands-on instruction with the essential tools for working with electronic records. Participants will learn to use spreadsheets, mapping and other software to turn raw data into stories. The course will emphasize the particular skills needed to develop innovative and intriguing ways to use data. Participants will leave with a long list of ideas for data stories they can take back to their organizations.
