IABC Ottawa presents: Employee Engagement 2.0
Whether your organization is involved in social media or not, your employees most certainly are. Social media has radically and permanently changed your employees’ expectations of internal communication, connection and collaboration. Employee Engagement 2.0 helps you adapt to this new communication landscape, finding new ways of connecting with employees to help drive business results.
What participants will learn:
§ Why the traditional “command and control” approach to employee communication is dead
§ How social media affects employee engagement
§ Realistic ways to evolve internal communication, even without social media
§ Case studies on employee communications applied in a social media context
About the facilitator:
Caroline Kealey is an internationally recognized communications strategist, trainer, facilitator and author with over 20 years of experience in her field.
She is the developer of the Results Map, a step-by-step process for designing strategic communications plans that work. The program gives communicators the tools, templates and best practices they need to be strategic, add value and do more with less. The Results Map program is offered through training workshops, consulting engagements and the Results Map Handbook: The Essential Guide to Strategic Communications Planning.
As Principal and Founder of Ingenium Communications, Caroline and her team provide consulting and training services in a range of disciplines including strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, change management and employee communication.
Caroline is Ottawa’s only IABC All Star speaker and is known as a “communicator’s communicator.” She is the winner of several awards including the 2013 IABC Excel Award for Distinguished Service, a Top 40 Under 40 award, New Business of the Year, an IABC Excel Award for Crisis Communications and a first-place Hygeia Award for Excellence in Health Communications.
