Here’s your chance to hear from Ottawa’s own award-winning communications and marketing professionals. Our panel is made up of winners from IABC Ottawa Excel Awards, IABC Canada’s Silver Leaf Awards and the IABC’s World Gold Quill Awards. Panelists will each present a short overview of their award winning work including challenges and lessons learned. The moderated panel will discuss what lifts work from being merely effective to being exemplary. Trends, best practices and practical tips will all be discussed. Questions will be welcomed from the floor.

Susan Barrett, Manager, Communications, Hydro Ottawa Limited, IABC Canada Silver Leaf Award of Excellence. Susan will present ‘Open Doors’ an award-winning community engagement event.
Dyna Vink, Independent Consultant, IABC Ottawa Excel Award of Excellence and IABC World Gold Quill Award. Dyna will present ‘Are we up for change?’ an internal communications strategy.
Phil Gaudreau, Communications Officer, Algonquin College, IABC Ottawa Excel Award of Excellence. Phil will present the ‘Spread the Net Student Challenge Campaign’.
Sherrilynne Starkie, Vice President, Thornley Fallis Communications, IABC Ottawa Excel Award of Excellence. Sherrilynne will provide an overview of the UA Canada Member Engagement Campaign.
Kelly Rusk, Partner, Communications Director, Banfield Agency. A Past President of IABC Ottawa and a multiple award winner herself, Kelly will chair and moderate the panel discussion.
