Introduction to technical writing, proposal writing and ghostwriting

The Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC), Ottawa Chapter is hosting a seminar open to members and non-members.

This two-hour seminar offers an introduction to technical writing, proposal writing and ghostwriting.

Guest panellists are Kerry Surman, a teacher in the Technical Writer graduate certificate program at Algonquin College, Heidi Lasi, a communications specialist whose background includes corporate and foundation proposal writing and development, and Karen Opas-Lanouette, an experienced editor, writer, and seasoned ghostwriter.

This event takes place on Saturday, April 24th, 2010, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Ottawa Public Library Main Branch Auditorium, 120 Metcalfe St.

The cost is $25 for the general public or $20 for students/members of writers’ organizations.

An early-bird discount is available for participants who register online by sending their name and contact information to by April 22nd. Discount will be applied at the door.
