Web Accessibility course, brought to you by David Berman

David Berman will be hosting a Web Accessibility Course at Adobe on Preston St. in Ottawa on Aug 18, 2011.

Web accessibility is all over the news. The November 29 federal court decision on blind activist Donna Jodhan’s case has triggered an appeal from the Canadian government regarding its world-leading Common Look and Feel (CLF) policy. In April, the Province of Ontario published its AODA regulations that will make Web accessibility the law for most businesses and organizations in Ontario, starting in 2012. Meanwhile, uprisings in the Middle East have possibly convinced us that Web access is a human right.

Most adults suffer at some point from disabilities or difficulties that can be mitigated with accessible technologies. And you can save time and resources by using the immediately-applicable understanding and techniques David Berman will personally share with you at our course.

Mr. Berman is an IABC member and is offering all IABC members a $100 discount.
