Sandra has extensive experience in strategic communications management and relationship development in government, non-profit, multidisciplinary, and global environments. With a Bachelor of Humanities from Carleton and a Master of Publishing from Simon Fraser, she started her career by working for the federal government in research publications and editorial services. Then she spent almost a decade abroad, working on global climate and conservation policy issues. Now back home in Ottawa, she continues to focus on communications for socio-economic policy change in Canada, with personal interest in environmental and 2SLGBTQIA+ issues. She loves reading, gardening, playing board games, and spending time with her husband, teenagers, and pet cockatiels.
