Working on a new website for your organization? Having trouble figuring out the back end of your site? Trying to understand how your campaigns and website are performing? You’re not alone! Skillsets in coding and analytics are becoming more and more essential for communicators. Fortunately, IABC Ottawa has got you covered!
Join us on March 27 at 5:30pm for our popular hands-on coding workshop, this year with a new component – Google Analytics 101!
Meet our instructors!
Caley Brock is a Software Development Fellow with Code for Canada where she writes code to enable innovation in the public service. She is passionate about supporting diverse and inclusive communities in software and has worked with Code.org, Girl Develop It, and Canada Learning Code to teach new learners.
Mark Brownlee is a digital marketing strategist and blogger in Ottawa. He currently works as a Digital Marketing Strategist with Banfield Agency, a blogger for several online outlets and volunteers as co-VP of Marketing Communications with IABC Ottawa. One of Mark’s specialties is in marketing performance measurement and he has taught sessions on Google Analytics to communications and marketing professionals.
How it works: This is a hands-on 2.5-hour workshop. Attendees will split up into two classrooms – one teaching code, one teaching Google Analytics. After one hour, there will be a short break where attendees will switch classrooms, allowing them to get a crash course in BOTH coding and Google Analytics in this jam-packed evening. Bring your own device (BYOD) and come ready to learn!
When: March 27, 2019, 5:30pm
