March is membership month and to celebrate we’ve organized a very special event. A Special Interest Group is an exclusive and free members-only learning opportunity that is often smaller and more intimate than other IABC events. This Special Interest Group focuses on creating a successful content strategy from the ground up led by Dominique Jolicoeur, content strategist at the National Capital Commission.
Today “content is king.” A content strategy is not a new concept, but in the digital era, it is at the forefront of communications. Building a publishing culture requires you to understand your audience, find stories within your organization and create relevant content from text to video.
This month we’re encouraging IABC members to attend and bring a non-member as their guest. Come out to learn and show your friends or colleagues the benefits of IABC!
When: March 5th, 2019
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA)
Suite 400, 979 Bank Street,

About Special Interest Groups:
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are small IABC member-only events that provide an informal opportunity to connect, learn and exchange knowledge with peers in an area of particular interest and relevance. SIGs are moderated by a subject matter expert, and are a great space to ask questions or gain insights into a specific topic. Interested in suggesting a SIG topic or hosting one? Contact email@example.com.
