Renewed? Great! Welcome (back) to our amazing community here in the Nation’s Capital! Your IABC membership keeps you connected to valuable benefits like events and webinars, networking and discussions on the IABC Online Community, opportunities for learning and certification, and much more. 

Here in Ottawa, I’ve been reflecting on the job market a lot lately and I know it's a tough time for many. Whether you’re trying to grow into bigger roles, or just exploring new options, building connections is key. Our Members Connect mentorship program is a great way to get support, advice, and fresh perspectives - or to give back as a mentor. I urge you all to sign up!

Another way to engage in this job market is through our Jobline board, a resource for posting and finding comms positions in the area. Please share it with your company’s hiring team!

Volunteering with IABC can also help you grow your skillset. I am currently looking for volunteers to help with our chapter’s Strategic Plan review and to join our Nominations Committee. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have any volunteer experience! But you do need to be an active IABC member for these two roles. Reach out if interested!
